More than 3,700 Students, 58% of Them Women, Are Receiving Degrees from John Jay College of Criminal Justice

The class of 2018 was the largest graduating class in the history of the College, with more than 3,700 graduates. This year’s graduates strived hard to reach their full potential while at John Jay—leading clubs, serving their communities, and conducting original research—and the evidence of their success is abundantly clear. Eleven students from John Jay’s inaugural Accelerate, Complete and Engage (ACE) Program will graduate in just three years, along side one of our first Prison-to-College Pipeline (P2CP) students. Our seniors won numerous prestigious awards, fellowships and scholarships, including the Fulbright, Watson, Gilman and Salk. And, many of our graduates were accepted to prominent law, medical and graduate schools, while others are pursuing ambitious careers in law enforcement, healthcare, public management, marketing and government.
